Caramel-chocolate Pecan Pie

Total Time: 28 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 8 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup crushed cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 4 teaspoons butter, melted
  • 20 caramels
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream, divided
  • 2 cuos chopped pecans
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Recipe

  • 1 combine cookie crumbs and butter.
  • 2 press onto the bottom of a 9 inch pie plate.
  • 3 bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minuites or until set.
  • 4 cool completely on a wire rack.
  • 5 in a saucepan, melt caramels with 1/4 cup cream, over low heat.
  • 6 stir until blended.
  • 7 remove from the heat.
  • 8 stir in pecans.
  • 9 spread evenly over crust.
  • 10 refrigerate for 10 minutes or until set.
  • 11 in a small saucepan, melt chocolate chips with remaining cream.
  • 12 drizzle over the caramel layer.
  • 13 refrigerate for at least 1 hour, before serving.
