Cranberry Shockers

Ingredients
- 2/3 cup shortening
- 2/3 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
- 2 cream shortening, butter, and sugars in a large bowl with a mixer. add eggs and extract, and beat until smooth.
- 3 add baking soda and 1 cup of flour. stir with wooden spoon. add 1 cup of flour and stir until smooth. add the last cup of flour and stir. add walnuts, dried cranberries, and chocolate chips until incorporated.
- 4 grease pan and drop dough by using rounded table spoon measurement. bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- 5 remove from oven, let cool on pan for 2 minutes, and then transfer to wire rack.
