Dad's Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 cups brown sugar
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 1 lb butter (softened)
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
• 1 tablespoon vanilla
• 3 eggs
• 6 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/3 cup cocoa
• 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup pecans (optional)

Recipe

• 1 cream sugars and butter.
• 2 add baking soda, salt, vanilla and eggs.
• 3 stir in flour and cocoa.
• 4 mix in chocolate chips.
• 5 mix in pecans (optional).
• 6 bake at 350 degrees f for 11 minutes.
