Dangerous Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 11 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups pecans, broken

Recipe

  • 1 melt 11 ounces of chocolate chips and butter in a double boiler. cool.
  • 2 sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • 3 in mixing bowl, beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla until slightly thickened.
  • 4 add the chocolate mixture.
  • 5 add the flour mixture.
  • 6 by hand stir in the remaining chocolate chips and pecans.
  • 7 drop by tablespoonful onto lightly greased baking sheet, spacing cookies about 3 inches apart since they really spread.
  • 8 bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. do not over bake. remove to rake and cool.
  • 9 note: if dough is too thin, place in fridge for 20=30 minutes before baking.
