Deep Fried Prawns With Batter (jow Ha)

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb prawns
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 4 cups oil

Recipe

  • 1 shell and devein prawns, leaving the tails on.
  • 2 sprinkle with salt and mix well.
  • 3 refrigerate for two hours.
