Apple's Restaurant Election Day Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter, softened
• 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 tablespoon vanilla
• 2 large eggs
• 2 3/4 cups flour
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
• 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
• 1 cup english toffee bits

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
• 2 cream butter, gradually add sugars, beating well.
• 3 add eggs and vanilla, beat well.
• 4 in separate bowl: combine flour, baking powder, soda, and salt - stir well.
• 5 add to butter mixture, beat at low speed until blended.
• 6 stir in toffee bits, chocolate chips.
• 7 drop dough by heaping tablespoons (ice cream scoop works great) onto ungreased cookie sheet.
• 8 bake 10-15 minutes or until cookie is lightly browned.
• 9 let cool slightly on sheets, then cool completely on wire racks.
