Baby Ruth Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 (2 1/8 ounce) baby ruth candy bars, chopped

Recipe

• 1 heat oven to 350°f.
• 2 in a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
• 3 add egg and vanilla; mix well.
• 4 combine flour, baking soda, and salt; add to the creamed mixture.
• 5 stir in candy bars.
• 6 drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
• 7 bake for 10 minute at 350°f or until edges are lightly browned.
• 8 immediately remove cookies to wire racks to cool.
