Ingredients

- 1 lb ground lamb
- 0.5 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts (chopped)
- 1/2 onion (chopped)
- 2 green onions (diced)
- 2 slices ginger, root (minced)
- 1 celery rib (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon cooking sherry
- salt and pepper
- 1 egg
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3/4 lb fresh snow pea
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon cooking sherry
- salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon black vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Recipe
- 1 combine meatball mixture in a large bowl, form mixture into small firm balls.
- 2 fry in oil until brown and cooked through. ( you can also bake them on a cookie sheet at 350 about 15-20 minute shaking the pan to brown them on all sides).
- 3 in a small pan, cook sauce mixture until thickened.
- 4 meanwhile; stir fry garlic in 2 t. oil add snow peas and continue frying about 20 sec., add salt, remove from wok and arrange peas on individual serving plates.
- 5 place meatballs in the center of pea pods, pour sauce on top.
