Chocolate Pinwheels

Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 6 tablespoons milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
Recipe
- 1 sift flour, baking powder and salt together , set aside.
- 2 blend butter and sugar till smooth. add the egg yolks, milk and vanilla.
- 3 add the flour mixture.
- 4 divide the dough. set ine half aside and mix the other half with the melted chocolate chips.
- 5 cover with plastic wrap and chill 20-30 minutes.
- 6 roll out each into 1/4" in thickness.
- 7 lay the 2 doughs on top of each other and roll them up like you would a jelly roll.
- 8 chill for one hour.
- 9 preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- 10 slice cookie dough 1/8" thick. place on an ungreased cookie tray about 1 inch apart.
- 11 bake for 5-7 minutes till golden brown.
