Chocolate Raspberry Crumb Bars

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 (12 ounce) package semisweet chocolate morsels, divided
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup nuts, chopped
- 1/3 cup seedless raspberry jam
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
- 2 grease a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
- 3 in a large bowl, beat butter until creamy.
- 4 beat in flour, sugar, and salt until well mixed.
- 5 with floured fingers, press 1 1/4 cup crumb mixture onto bottom of prepared pan; reserving remaining crumb mixture.
- 6 bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
- 7 combine 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels and sweetened condensed milk in a small heavy duty saucepan.
- 8 melt over low heat until smooth.
- 9 spread over hot crust.
- 10 stir nuts into reserved crumb mixture; sprinkle evenly over chocolate filling.
- 11 drop teaspoonfuls of raspberry jam over crumb mixture.
- 12 sprinkle with remaining semi-sweet chocolate morsels.
- 13 continue baking for 25 to 30 minutes or until center is set.
- 14 cool completely on wire rack.
