Chocolate Rum Balls

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 2 cups chocolate wafer crumbs
  • 1 cup ground pecans
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup rum
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup chocolate sprinkles

Recipe

  • 1 in a bowl, combine cookie crumbs, pecans, sugar, rum and corn syrup.
  • 2 shape into 1 inch balls.
  • 3 line a tray with wax paper.
  • 4 place balls on a tray and refrigerate until cold.
  • 5 in a double boiler, using hot water, melt chocolate.
  • 6 let it cool a little.
  • 7 dip balls into melted chocolate with only a thin coat.
  • 8 roll in candy sprinkles.
  • 9 place balls on waxed paper lined tray until chocolate is set.
  • 10 serve your dad on father's day!
