Cranberry Cashew Jumbles

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup salted cashews, coarsely chopped
  • 1 (5 ounce) package dried cranberries
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons milk

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375*f.
  • 2 cream the butter and brown sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until creamy.
  • 3 add the sour cream, egg, and vanilla; blend well.
  • 4 reduce mixer speed to low; gradually stir in the flour, baking powder, and baking soda (whisk together first) until well combined.
  • 5 stir in the cashews and dried cranberries by hand.
  • 6 drop dough by rounded tsp.
  • 7 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  • 8 bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly browned.
  • 9 cool cookies completely on wire racks.
  • 10 stir together the powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl until desired drizzling consistency is reached; drizzle over cooled cookies.
