Debbies Easy Cherry Cobbler

Ingredients
- 2 (20 ounce) cans cherry pie filling
- 1 (15 ounce) can pitted dark sweet cherries in heavy syrup, drained
- 2 tablespoons plain flour
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 prepared pie crust
- 1 egg wash
- 2 tablespoons sugar
Recipe
- 1 stir together pie filling, cherries, and 2 tablespoons flour.
- 2 stir in almond extract.
- 3 place in a lightly greased 8-inch-square baking dish.
- 4 place pie crust on top. brush with egg wash. sprinkle with sugar.
- 5 place on cookie sheet. bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
