Debbies Easy Cherry Cobbler

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 (20 ounce) cans cherry pie filling
  • 1 (15 ounce) can pitted dark sweet cherries in heavy syrup, drained
  • 2 tablespoons plain flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 prepared pie crust
  • 1 egg wash
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

Recipe

  • 1 stir together pie filling, cherries, and 2 tablespoons flour.
  • 2 stir in almond extract.
  • 3 place in a lightly greased 8-inch-square baking dish.
  • 4 place pie crust on top. brush with egg wash. sprinkle with sugar.
  • 5 place on cookie sheet. bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
