Ingredients

• 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup cocoa
• 2 cups flour
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 cup milk
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 3/4 cup shortening
• 1 2/3 cups confectioners' sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
• 4 ounces marshmallow creme

Recipe

• 1 combine flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder. mix together shortening and sugar; add egg and cocoa. add flour mixture, milk and vanilla. mix well. drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes. let cool.
• 2 prepare filling by mixing all ingredients together.
