Chocolate Raspberry Pie

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 9 inches ready-made pie crusts
  • 1/2 cup raspberry jam
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted (1 stick)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 350. thaw or prepare the pie crust according to the package directions. melt the jam, and let it cool while you assemble the pie.
  • 2 in a medium sized mixing bowl, combine the sugar, flour, and salt with a fork to sift. add the eggs and stir. add the butter and melted jam, and stir. stir in the chocolate chips, then pour into the pie crust.
  • 3 bake on a cookie sheet (to prevent oven splillage) for 45 minutes, or until the top has firmed. let cool before serving. you may also serve it chilled.
