Creamy Cashew Brownies

Ingredients
- 1 (20 ounce) package fudge brownie mix (13-inch x 9-inch pan size)
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup salted cashews, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup chocolate fudge topping, warmed
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350°.
- 2 in a large bowl, combine the brownie mix, water, oil and egg. stir in chips.
- 3 spread into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. bake for 25-27 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean (do not overbake). cool on a wire rack.
- 4 for topping, in a large mixing bowl beat the cream cheese, confectioners' sugar and vanilla until smooth. spread over brownies.
- 5 sprinkle with cashews; drizzle with hot fudge topping. refrigerate before cutting.
- 6 store in the refrigerator.
