Cheddar Straws

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour, all-purpose
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded, at room temperature
  • 8 tablespoons butter, unsalted, softened

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 375.
  • 2 combine flour and cayenne pepper in a small bowl; set aside.
  • 3 combine cheese and butter in food processor/ mixer until smooth.
  • 4 add flour mixture and mix until well combined.
  • 5 make straws using a cookie press or roll doungh to 1/8 inch and cut into small strips.
  • 6 bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
