Crescent Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 lb butter
• 2 cups flour
• 2 cups really finely chopped pecans
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 5 tablespoons sugar
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 1 tablespoon water

Recipe

• 1 cream butter and add sugar, vanilla and water.
• 2 sift flour and salttogether and stir into mixture. add pecans and stir well.
• 3 using portions about the size of a small walnut; roll into cresent shape.
• 4 bake in slow oven, that means 325 degrees, about 20 minutes.
• 5 while cookies are still warm; roll in powdered sugar.
