Chocolate Chunk Cookies (low Fat/low Calorie)

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 36
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup splenda granular
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup smart balance light butter spread
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons skim milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 ounces semisweet chocolate chunks

Recipe

  • 1 combine sugars, butter, eggs whites, and vanilla til creamy.
  • 2 combine the flours, oats, soda, and salt and add to butter mixture.
  • 3 stir just until moistened -- do not overmix.
  • 4 stir in chocolate pieces.
  • 5 drop by rounded teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart on baking sheets that have been sprayed with nonstick spray.
  • 6 bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned.
  • 7 remove cookies to racks to cool.
