Chocolate Turtle Cookies

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 4 large eggs
• 10 tablespoons cocoa
• 2 cups flour
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 1 teaspoon baking powder

Recipe

• 1 heat the waffle iron.
• 2 mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
• 3 bake on waffle iron a few seconds until firm. use a spoonful of dough for each cookie.
• 4 refrigerate dough if it sticks to iron.
• 5 frost with powdered sugar, cocoa and a little milk and vanilla. (this is how grandma had it on her recipe it's been so long since i've made these i don't remember the amounts i used. i'll post them when i've made it again).
