Coconut Bars

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1/2 cup nuts, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 in bowl combine flour and baking powder, blend well. cream the butter, salt , vanilla, add the sugar and the honey and beat well. add flour mixture, oatmeal, coconut and nuts. pack into a greased 9 inches square pan.
  • 2 bake at 325° for 45 minutes, cut into squares while warm.
