Chewy Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 1/4 cups butter or 1 1/4 cups margarine
• 2 eggs
• 2 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
• 1 cup nuts, finely chopped
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe

• 1 cream butter and sugar in large mixer bowl.
• 2 add eggs and vanilla.
• 3 blend well.
• 4 combine dry ingredients.
• 5 blend into creamed mixture.
• 6 stir in nuts.
• 7 drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased.
• 8 cookie sheet.
• 9 bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 9 minutes.
• 10 cool on cookie sheet until set,about 1 minute.
• 11 remove to wire rack to cool completely.
