Cran-raspberry Streusel Bars

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened and cut into bits
- 2 cups flour
- 2/3 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 2/3 cup raspberry preserves
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries
- 1/3 cup unsalted mixed nuts (chopped)
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips
- 2 ounces chocolate, melted
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350°.
- 2 butter a 7- by 11-in. pan.
- 3 in a food processor, whirl flour, oats, and sugar 10 seconds.
- 4 add 1 cup butter; whirl until mixture forms a ball.
- 5 set aside 1/2 cup of mixture.
- 6 whirl in yolks.
- 7 press yolk mixture into pan.
- 8 spread with preserves.
- 9 sprinkle on cranberries, nuts, and chocolate chips, then press into dough.
- 10 form pea-size crumbs with reserved dough mixture; sprinkle over top.
- 11 bake at 350° until topping is pale gold, 45 minutes.
- 12 cool on a rack; drizzle with melted chocolate.
- 13 cut into 24 bars.
