Chicken In Garlic Cream Sauce

Ingredients

- 2 sheets aluminum foil (12x18-inches each)
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (4 to 6 oz. each)
- 1 cup regular alfredo sauce or 1 cup low-fat alfredo sauce
- 1 can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 medium red bell pepper, cut in strips
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 450°f or grill to medium-high.
- 2 spray foil with nonstick spray.
- 3 center one chicken breast half on each sheet of aluminum foil.
- 4 combine alfredo sauce, mushrooms, garlic powder and pepper; spoon mixture over chicken.
- 5 arrange red pepper on top of chicken and sauce.
- 6 bring up foil sides.
- 7 double fold top and ends to seal packet, leaving room for heat circulation inside.
- 8 repeat to make two packets.
- 9 bake 20 to 25 minutes on a cookie sheet in oven or grill 12 to 14 minutes in covered grill until meat thermometer reads 170°f.
