Chicken In Garlic Cream Sauce

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 2 sheets aluminum foil (12x18-inches each)
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (4 to 6 oz. each)
  • 1 cup regular alfredo sauce or 1 cup low-fat alfredo sauce
  • 1 can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, cut in strips

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 450°f or grill to medium-high.
  • 2 spray foil with nonstick spray.
  • 3 center one chicken breast half on each sheet of aluminum foil.
  • 4 combine alfredo sauce, mushrooms, garlic powder and pepper; spoon mixture over chicken.
  • 5 arrange red pepper on top of chicken and sauce.
  • 6 bring up foil sides.
  • 7 double fold top and ends to seal packet, leaving room for heat circulation inside.
  • 8 repeat to make two packets.
  • 9 bake 20 to 25 minutes on a cookie sheet in oven or grill 12 to 14 minutes in covered grill until meat thermometer reads 170°f.
