Chocolate Hazelnut Biscuits/ Cookies

Ingredients
- 125 g butter, chopped
- 250 g dark chocolate, roughly chopped
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/4 cups plain flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup roasted hazelnuts
- vanilla ice cream, to serve
Recipe
- 1 prehat oven to 200°c (400°f) and line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
- 2 combine butter and chopped dark chocolate in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate has melted and mixture is smooth and combined.
- 3 transfer to a large bowl, add eggs and sugar. stir until combined.
- 4 sift flour and cocoa together over the chocolate mixture, then gently fold through.
- 5 add choc chips and hazelnuts, stir until combined.
- 6 drop tablespoonfuls of biscuit mixture onto baking trays, allowing room for spreading.
- 7 bake for 10 - 12 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool.
