Chocolate Elves

Ingredients

• 2 cups flour
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/8 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1/2 cup cocoa
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 cup sour milk

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
• 2 sift baking powder, flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa.
• 3 cream the shortening with the sugar.
• 4 add the eggs (beaten) and vanilla.
• 5 add the flour mix alternating with the sour milk.
• 6 beat well.
• 7 drop small spoonfuls on a greaded cookie sheet.
• 8 bake 12 to 15 minutes.
