Cream Cheese Spritz Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup shortening
• 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 egg yolk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 1/2 cups flour, sifted
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
• food coloring, if desired

Recipe

• 1 cream shortening and cream cheese.
• 2 gradually add sugar and mix well.
• 3 beat in egg yolk and vanilla.
• 4 sift flour with salt and cinnamon; gradually add to cream mixture.
• 5 add food coloring if desired.
• 6 fill cookie press and form cookies on ungreased cookie sheets.
• 7 bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 12-15 minutes.
• 8 cool before removing from baking dish.
