Cherry Vanilla Snowdrops

Ingredients

• 1 lb butter, room temperature
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 1/2 cup cornstarch
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 tablespoon vanilla
• 3 cups flour
• 1 1/2 cups dried cherries
• 3/4 cup chopped pistachio nut (optional)
• 1 lb powdered sugar, for rolling

Recipe

• 1 cream the butter, powdered sugar and cornstarch. add the salt, vanilla and flour and mix to a nice dough. fold in the cherries and nuts.
• 2 roll in 1 inch balls and bake at 350* for 8-10 minutes on parchment lined baking sheets.
• 3 roll warm cookies in powdered sugar coating well. when cool, re-roll in additional sugar.
