Chicken Liver Cookies For Isabella Martini

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 teaspoons dried parsley
- 1 cup chicken liver, cooked and chopped
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 cup mixed vegetables, mashed, these are canned
Recipe
- 1 combine flour and cornmeal.
- 2 in a separate bowl, beat egg with the oil; add broth and parsley, mixing well.
- 3 slowly stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing well. add the chicken livers and mix well.
- 4 turn out onto a floured work surface and knead for 3 to 5 minutes. roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness and cut into desired shapes.
- 5 bake at 400 f (205*c) for 15 minutes or until nicely browned. cool completely on wire racks. store in refrigerator.
