Cinnamon Nutmeg Chocolate Blondies

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter or 3/4 cup margarine, softened
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup cinnamon baking chips
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup walnuts

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°.
  • 2 grease 13 x 9 inch baking pan (i like to use the wrapper from the butter to do this).
  • 3 beat butter and sugars in a large mixing bowl until creamy.
  • 4 add eggs and beat well.
  • 5 sift together flour, baking soda, salt and nutmeg; gradually add to butter mixture, blending well.
  • 6 stir in cinnamon chips, chocolate chips and nuts.
  • 7 spread into prepared pan. the batter will be very thick.
  • 8 bake 30 to 35 minutes or until top is golden brown and center is set.
  • 9 cool completely in pan on wire rack.
  • 10 cut into bars.
