Cinnamon Snickerdoodles

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup almond halves or 1 cup pecan halves or 1 cup walnut halves

Recipe

  • 1 in large bowl beat butter with 1 1/2 cups sugar until light and fluffy.
  • 2 beat in eggs and vanilla.
  • 3 in separate bowl, mix together flour, baking.
  • 4 powder and salt.
  • 5 stir into butter mixture until combined.
  • 6 in small bowl,.
  • 7 mix together 1/3 cup sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
  • 8 shape dough into 1 inch balls; roll in cinnamon mixture.
  • 9 place 2 inches apart on lightly buttered.
  • 10 baking sheets.
  • 11 press nut into top of each ball.
  • 12 bake at 350ºf oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden on bottom.
