Carl Reiner's Cream Cheese Cookies

Ingredients

• Servings: 36
• 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
• 1/2 cup butter
• 9 tablespoons sugar
• 9 walnut halves, very finely chopped
• 1 cup flour

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 350.
• 2 cream together cream cheese and butter.
• 3 add sugar gradually, creaming after each addition.
• 4 add walnuts.
• 5 fold in flour & blend until smooth .
• 6 drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
• 7 flatten dough with wet finger until wafer thin.
• 8 bake 10 minutes.
• 9 my note: i usually bake them until the edges are just beginning to brown.
