Butter Toffee Crackers

Ingredients

• 1 (16 ounce) box graham crackers or 1 (16 ounce) box town house crackers or 1 (16 ounce) box ritz crackers
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1/2 cup margarine
• 1/2 cup sugar or 1/2 cup splenda granular
• 1 cup pecans or 1 cup walnuts

Recipe

• 1 line a large lipped cookie sheet with foil.
• 2 place crackers end to end on cookie sheet.
• 3 combine other ingredients (except nuts) in saucepan and bring to a boil.
• 4 boil for 2 minutes.
• 5 pour over crackers.
• 6 sprinkle with chopped nuts.
• 7 bake at 350 degrees for 12-14 minutes.
• 8 when cool, break apart.
