Chocolate Chip Cherry Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1/3 cup butter
• 1/3 cup shortening
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 3/4 cup dried cherries
• 6 ounces chocolate chips

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 375.
• 2 cream butter, sugars and shortning.
• 3 blend in the egg and vanilla.
• 4 add in flour, baking soda and salt.
• 5 fold in the chocolate and cherries.
• 6 place rounded 2 inch balls of on a cookie sheet. allow room for them to spread. bake 8-10 minutes until lighty browned.
