Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon anise seed
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
- 1 cream butter and sugar.
- 2 add beaten eggs, vanilla and anise seed.
- 3 add dry ingredients and mix well.
- 4 chill dough for several hours.
- 5 roll out to 1/8 inch thickness.
- 6 cut with favorite cutters.
- 7 bake on ungreased cookie sheet 10 - 15 minutes at 325.
