Carmelized Onion Focaccia Pizza

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 premade pizza crust (boboli bread, focaccia, or your own recipe)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • salt and pepper
  • 8 slices deli provolone cheese
  • 1/4 cup greek olive, cut in half
  • olive oil

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter and 1 tablespoon olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat.
  • 2 cook onions and garlic in butter and olive oil over medium-low or low heat until they are browned and carmelized - 10 to 15 minutes. stir frequently.
  • 3 heat the oven to 450 degrees.
