Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie

Ingredients
- Servings: 12
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup pecans (optional)
- 1 (9 inch) pie crusts, unbaked
Recipe
- 1 cream soft butter & sugars until pale in color and fluffy.
- 2 add eggs and vanilla beating well.
- 3 add flour mix well.
- 4 stir in chips and nuts.
- 5 fill pie shell with mixture leveling out.
- 6 protect edges with foil.
- 7 bake at 325°f for 70 minutes.
- 8 remove foil for the last 15 minute of bake time.
- 9 can be served with a small dollop of whipped cream or a small scoop of ice cream i usually serve it plain.
