Chocolate Chip Toffee Millerbars

Ingredients
- 2 1/3 cups flour
- 2/3 cup packed light brown sugar
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 large egg
- 2 cups chocolate chips, divided
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (10 ounce) package skor english toffee bits, divided
Recipe
- 1 preheat the oven to 350°f.
- 2 grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
- 3 in a large bowl, mix together the flour and brown sugar.
- 4 cut in the butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- 5 add the egg and mix well.
- 6 stir in 1 1/2 cups of the chocolate chips.
- 7 reserve 1 1/2 cups of the crumb mixture, and press the rest into the greased pan.
- 8 bake for 10 minutes.
- 9 pour the condensed milk evenly over the hot crumb crust.
- 10 sprinkle with 1 1/2 cups of toffee bits.
- 11 sprinkle with the remaining crumb crust mixture and the other 1/2 cup of chocolate chips over the top.
- 12 bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.
- 13 remove from the oven and sprinkle with the rest of the toffee bits (1/4 cup).
- 14 cool on a wire rack and cut into bars.
