Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 cup butter flavor shortening
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 4 eggs, room temperature
- 1 1/2 tablespoons mexican vanilla extract
- 4 cups flour
- 2/3 cup hersheys special dark cocoa
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degees.
- 2 cream together butter, shortening, and sugars until light and fluffy.
- 3 add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
- 4 mix dry ingredients together; stir into butter mixture.
- 5 fold in chocolate chips and nuts; chill for 30 minutes.
- 6 drop by teaspoonfuls onto baking sheets.
- 7 bake 8-10 minutes.
- 8 allow to cool slightly before removing from pan to rack , cool.
