Chocolate Coconut Shortbread Slice

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 15
  • 125 g butter
  • 1/2 cup caster sugar
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup self-raising flour
  • 3 tablespoons condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup icing sugar
  • 1 teaspoon butter, melted
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven for 300*f.
  • 2 8.
  • 3 in a bowl, mix butter and caster sugar until creamy.
  • 4 add self-raising flour, coconut, pinch of salt and mix well.
  • 5 grease a square slab pan with butter.
  • 6 press evenly into prepared pan.
  • 7 bake until the top gets nice and brown color.
  • 8 while baking biscuits base, prepare icing for the top.
  • 9 mix all icing ingredients well.
  • 10 when biscuits base baked, spread icing mixture all over the top while base is still hot.
  • 11 cool in pan.
  • 12 cut into pieces and eat!
