Chocolate Cream Cheese Swirl Brownies

Ingredients
- 4 ounces german sweet chocolate
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon flour
Recipe
- 1 melt chocolate and margarine over very low heat.
- 2 stir sugar into chocolate mixture; add eggs and vanilla stir until completely mixed. mix in flour until well blended. stir in nuts.
- 3 spread in greased and floured 8-inch square pan.
- 4 prepare topping. mix cream cheese, sugar, egg and flour until smooth.
- 5 spoon over brownie batter mixture in pan, swirl with knife to make a "marble" pattern.
- 6 bake at 350° for about 30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out almost clean.
- 7 cool in pan on a rack; cut cream cheese brownies into squares.
