Cindy's Biscuits

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup crisco
  • 3/4 cup milk

Recipe

  • 1 mix flour and baking powder.
  • 2 cut in butter with fork or pastry cutter (or hands :).
  • 3 use a fork to beat in milk gradually to form a ball.
  • 4 on a lightly floured surface, flatten dough to 3/4 inch.
  • 5 using a biscuit cutter or small rimmed glass dipped in flour, cut out biscuits.
  • 6 place biscuits on cookie tray or baking stone and bake at 425 for approx 8-10min (top will golden slightly).
