Cream Cheese Lemon Bars

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 1 (18 1/2 ounce) lemon cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 eggs, divided
  • 2 cups lemon frosting, canned
  • 8 ounces cream cheese

Recipe

  • 1 grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • 2 combine cake mix, butter, and 1 egg.
  • 3 stir until moisten. press into pan.
  • 4 blend frosting into cream cheese.
  • 5 reserve 1/2 cup mixture to frost bars.
  • 6 set aside.
  • 7 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 8 add remaining eggs to remaining frosting mixture.
  • 9 beat 3-5 minutes at high speed.
  • 10 spread over base.
  • 11 bake about 30 minutes.
  • 12 cool slightly and frost with reserved frosting.
  • 13 cut into bars.
