Brown Edge Wafers

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 eggs, well beaten
• 2 cups flour
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• pecans

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
• 2 in a large bowl, cream butter and sugar.
• 3 add eggs and vanilla.
• 4 add flour and salt; mix well.
• 5 drop dough (the size of a marble) on greased cookie sheets leaving quite a large space between each.
• 6 press a pecan in the center of each.
• 7 bake 14 to 15 minutes.
