Coconut Bars

Ingredients

- 1 (18 1/2 ounce) package cake mix
- 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine, softened
- 1/4 cup coconut
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 2 eggs
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/3 cups coconut, divided
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
- 2 spray a 9x13" cake pan with cooking spray.
- 3 in a large bowl, stir together all crust ingredients.
- 4 spread in the cake pan.
- 5 in a small bowl, beat together the milk, eggs and vanilla.
- 6 fold in 1 cup of coconut and the pecans.
- 7 spread evenly over the crust.
- 8 sprinkle the rest of the coconut over the filling.
- 9 bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown.
