Banana Bread In A Jar

Ingredients

- 2 2/3 cups sugar
- 2/3 cup shortening
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups mashed ripe bananas
- 2/3 cup chopped nuts, your preference
Recipe
- 1 preparation: set up 7 wide-mouth pint-size canning jars, metal rings and lids.
- 2 don't use any other jars.
- 3 sterilize jars, lids and rings according to manufacturer's directions.

- 6 in large bowl cream sugar and shortening with electric mixer.
