Banana Cream Pie With Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 1 9 inch pie shell, unbaked
  • 3 ounces bittersweet chocolate, finely grated
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cups light cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large bananas, ripe
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate-flavored liqueur (optional)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • fresh nutmeg, grated

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 350 degrees .
