Chocolate Walnut Fudge Brownies

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 185 g dark chocolate
  • 125 g butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (or other nut of your choice hazelnuts work very well too)

Recipe

  • 1 pre-heat oven to 170 degrees celcius.
  • 2 grease a 20cm square cake pan and line the base with greaseproof paper.
  • 3 melt chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat.
  • 4 stir in sugar and eggs one at a time and beat well with a spoon.
  • 5 stir in sifted flour and walnuts.
  • 6 pour into cake pan and bake for 30 minutes.
  • 7 cool in the pan and then cut into squares or bars.
