Christmas Cookies

Ingredients

• Servings: 30
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 1 cup shortening
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 3 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

• 1 cream sugar, shortening and eggs.
• 2 in a separate bowl combine nutmeg, salt and flour.
• 3 stir flour mixture into milk, alternating between the two until mixed well.
• 4 add vanilla.
• 5 drop by tsp on greased cookie sheet.
• 6 sprinkle tops with sugar.
• 7 bake 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
