Coconut Chocolate Delights

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 (300 ml) can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut, shredded

Recipe

  • 1 combine flour and cocoa in top of a double boiler. stir well to blend.
  • 2 add egg and sweetened condensed milk; beat until smoothly blended.
  • 3 cook over simmering water, stirring occasionally, until thick enough to hold its shape, about 15 minutes.
  • 4 remove from heat; stir in butter and almond extract. cool.
  • 5 drop by teaspoonful into coconut. toss in coconut and shape into balls.
  • 6 chil for 1 hour or until firm. store in airtight container in refrigerator.
